GOX Terms & Conditions

Welcome to GOX. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the GOX platform, including mobile applications, websites, and related services (collectively, the "Platform"). By signing up, accessing, or using GOX, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Definitions
- GOX / We / Us – The GOX platform and its operators
- User – Any person who registers for and uses the Platform
- Customer – A user who requests delivery services
- Rider / Driver – A user who provides delivery services
- Services – Delivery, logistics, and related services offered through GOX
2. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, you:
- Confirm you are at least 18 years old
- Agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy
- Agree that GOX may update these Terms at any time
3. Account Registration
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Keep your login credentials confidential
- Be responsible for all activity under your account
- Notify GOX immediately of any unauthorized use
GOX reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false information.
4. Service Description
GOX provides a technology platform connecting Customers and Riders. GOX:
- Does not provide delivery services directly
- Is not a logistics carrier
- Acts only as an intermediary platform
Riders operate as independent contractors and are not employees of GOX.
5. User Responsibilities
Users must:
- Provide accurate pickup and delivery details
- Ensure items are lawful and safe to transport
- Not use the Platform for illegal purposes
- Treat Riders and Customers respectfully
5.1 Prohibited Items
Users must not request delivery of the following items:
- Illegal drugs
- Weapons or explosives
- Hazardous materials
- Stolen goods
- Live animals (unless permitted)
- Any items prohibited under Malaysian law
Violation may result in account suspension or termination.
6. Rider Responsibilities
Riders agree to:
- Hold a valid driving license
- Maintain valid vehicle documentation
- Ensure vehicle safety and roadworthiness
- Comply with traffic laws
- Deliver items in a professional manner
GOX may suspend Riders for misconduct, unsafe driving, or poor service.
7. Payments & Fees
- Delivery fees are shown before booking confirmation
- Users agree to pay all applicable charges
- GOX may introduce service fees, subscription fees, or promotional pricing
- Payments may be processed via third-party payment providers
All payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
8. Cancellations & Refunds
8.1 Customer Cancellation
- Customers may cancel a booking before the Rider begins delivery.
- Cancellation fees may apply based on Rider acceptance and distance traveled.
8.2 Rider Cancellation
- Riders may cancel only for valid reasons, including safety concerns, incorrect item description, or unreachable customer.
- Excessive cancellations may result in account suspension.
9. Limitation of Liability
GOX is not responsible for:
- Loss or damage of items during delivery
- Delays due to traffic, weather, or unforeseen events
- Rider conduct as independent contractors
GOX's maximum liability shall not exceed the delivery fee paid.
10. Insurance Disclaimer
GOX does not guarantee insurance coverage unless explicitly stated. Users are encouraged to:
- Purchase additional insurance
- Avoid sending high-value items
11. Prohibited Conduct
Users must not:
- Abuse Riders or Customers
- Use fake bookings
- Manipulate pricing
- Attempt fraud
- Interfere with Platform operations
Violation may result in account termination.
12. Account Suspension & Termination
GOX may suspend or terminate accounts for:
- Violation of Terms
- Fraudulent activity
- Unsafe conduct
- Legal requirements
GOX reserves the right to do so without prior notice.
13. Data & Privacy
By using GOX, you consent to:
- Collection of personal information
- Use of location data
- Communication via SMS, email, or notifications
Data handling is governed by GOX Privacy Policy.
14. Platform Availability
GOX does not guarantee:
- Continuous availability
- Error-free operation
- Immediate matching with Riders
The Platform may be updated or maintained at any time.
15. Intellectual Property
All GOX content including:
- Logo
- Design
- Software
- Branding
are owned by GOX and may not be copied without permission.
16. Indemnification
Users agree to indemnify GOX against claims arising from:
- Violation of these Terms
- Illegal item deliveries
- Misuse of the Platform
17. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Malaysia.
18. Changes to Terms
GOX may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform means acceptance of updates.
